Our Purpose
Unchained Ministries is called to unite believers in authentic worship and to intercede for others. Our purpose is to:
Foster Community: Create a space for people to connect and grow in faith.
Pray with Purpose: Stand in the gap for families, children, and communities, trusting in the power of prayer.
Worship in Spirit and Truth: Lead genuine, scripture-rooted worship that invites God’s presence.
Foster Community
Weekly Small Groups: Host small group gatherings for people to study scripture, pray, and share their lives, fostering deeper connections within the ministry.
Community Outreach Events: Organize regular outreach activities like feeding programs, clothing drives, or neighborhood clean-ups, inviting both ministry members and local residents to participate.
Family Support Groups: Create support groups for families, offering a safe space for parents to connect, share experiences, and pray together for their children and households.
Discipleship Programs: Develop mentorship and discipleship programs where newer believers are paired with experienced members to grow in faith and build meaningful relationships.
Worship Nights: Host weakly and monthly worship nights open to the broader community, providing a welcoming environment where believers from various backgrounds can gather to worship together.
Community Prayer Walks: Organize prayer walks through local neighborhoods, encouraging members to pray for their communities and connect with residents along the way.
Pray with Purpose
Intercessory Prayer for Families: Dedicate specific prayer times to lift up families, praying for protection, unity, and God’s guidance in their lives, while standing in the gap for their needs.
Community Prayer Gatherings: Host regular prayer sessions focused on the needs of the local community, praying for issues like safety, economic stability, and spiritual revival.
Prayer for Children and Youth: Organize special prayer meetings focused on the next generation, asking for God’s wisdom, protection, and purpose to be fulfilled in their lives.
Crisis Response Prayer: When local or global crises occur, gather as a ministry to pray for affected communities, offering targeted prayers for healing, support, and recovery.
Worship in Spirit and Truth
Authentic, Heartfelt Worship: Encourage worship that comes from a sincere heart, not just external acts. True worship means surrendering genuinely to God, not merely following routines.
Reference: "God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth." (John 4:24)
Scripture-Based Worship Songs: Lead worship songs grounded in biblical truths, focusing on God’s attributes, promises, and character. Worship that aligns with scripture brings people into a deeper understanding of who God is.
Reference: “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly...singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.” (Colossians 3:16)
Unity in Worship: Gather as one body to worship, encouraging each person to worship freely and wholeheartedly. This reflects the unity of believers and our shared purpose to glorify God together.
Reference: "With one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 15:6)
Spirit-Led Worship: Be open to the Holy Spirit’s leading during worship, allowing space for spontaneous prayer, song, and expressions that honor God. This openness allows believers to worship beyond set routines.
Reference: "For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God." (Romans 8:14)
